TECHNOLOGY FOR PRODUCING OF HIGH UNIFORM CHALCOGENIDE SEMICONDUCTOR MATERIALS ELECTRICAL POWER DRIVE ENERGY


Purpose of the development: Using the "rocking furnace" for synthesis and doping material improves parameters such as uniformity synthesized and additionally doped material. Stirring during the synthesis of the material leads to improved homogeneity of the material, a uniform distribution of the dopant in the bulk, improved thermoelectric parameters (thermal emf coefficient, thermal conductivity, resistivity).

Recommended application field: For thermoelectric energy converters (thermogenerators, thermopile, thermorefrigerators).

Technical characteristic: 1. Synthesis temperature (PbTe-based) - 1100-1200 ° C. 2. The number of series of oscillations - 3-5. 3. The number of oscillations in a series - 10-15 times. 4. Duration of one oscillation - 10 to 15 minutes. 5. The duration of the synthesis - 3-4 days. 6. The angle of tilting relative to the original (horizontal) position - 15-30 °.

Advantages over analogues: Experimental samples of thermocouple elements have branches specifications at the level of the best world standards and successfully tested in the laboratory testing of thermoelectric devices.

Synthesis technology (doping) using the "rocking furnace" is to increase the synthesis of deduction by mechanical mixing of the components during the synthesis of the material. Owing to the mixing of the material, increasing its uniformity (uniform distribution of the dopant). Thermocouple threads made of the synthesized material are more thermoelectric parameters compared with branches made of samples synthesized by RPK (vapor-liquid-solid). On the basis of synthesized materials can be made experimental samples of various microelectronic devices (thermoelectric transducers, detectors, sensors, etc.).
