Purpose of the development: Linear micromotor LPM-5 is designed to create a subminiature drive sizes smaller than 10 mm.

Recommended application field: Micro- and nanomanipulators, microvalves, robotics, microinjection systems, microsurgical system, integrated semiconductor technology, fiber and laser technology, etc.

Technical characteristic: - movement range: 15 mm; - the maximum force:> = 3.0 N; - maximum speed:> = 0.2 m / s; - self-locking force: more than 4.0 N; - tick: 0.05 um; - the duration of the strobe tick: 20-30 us; - the frequency of repetition of steps (pick-up): up to 10 kHz; - the acceleration time until the maximum speed (without load inertia): 200 us; - drift (at 20 ° C): not more than 2 nm / h; - bearing capacity of the guide: 200 g; - Supply voltage: 12 V; - maximum current (at maximum rate): 400 mA; - the range of the average power consumption: 0,5 ... 5,0 W; - engine weight: 35 g; - driver weight: 20 g; - size: 59x47x10 mm.

Advantages over analogues: Compared to conventional engines has a small size, a large range of precision movement, the possibility of the formation of ultra-low micromovings almost instant acceleration and deceleration, self-locking when the generator is turned off, the almost complete absence of drift.
