Purpose of the development: Creation of automated information retrieval system of legal terms such as thesaurus. Central to take a thesaurus dictionaries semantic factors, descriptors, which together with a dictionary of terms constitute descriptor article - part of ideographic thesaurus.

Recommended application field: - information system designed for a wide range of users: Ukrainian and foreign citizens, who wish to be informed in matters of adoption of children; - lawyers specializing in family law; - administrative staff of ministries and departments (the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Health, the Committee on Citizenship, the Ministry of Justice, Center for adoptions at the Ministry of Education of Ukraine, etc.); - specialists of diplomatic missions and consular offices in Ukraine and abroad who work in the field of adoption of children; - social workers and employees of international charities, non-governmental organizations working to protect the rights and interests of children; - boarding employees and other children's institutions involved in the process of adoption of children.

Technical characteristic: The body contains about 3,500 terms and terminological collocations in the Ukrainian language and their equivalents in English, including the definition of terms and their transliteration.
