INTELLIGENT PERSONAL SUPERCOMPUTER WITH HYBRID ARCHITECTURE TO SOLVE SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNICAL PROBLEMS


Purpose of the development: Personal Supercomputer is designed for solutions with estimates of the reliability of the results of a whole range of design tasks in the defense industry, engineering industries, construction, etc., including the tasks of calculating the strength of structures, aerodynamics, planning and processing of the results of field experiments and tests.

Recommended application field: Addressing the complex and highly complex scientific and technical problems; real-time simulation of complex processes of different nature, including economics, science, industry; virtual design objects of modern engineering and construction; creating simulators training of personnel for modern management of complex objects; efficient processing of large databases.

Advantages over analogues: - exemption from the user works on research tasks, the creation of parallel algorithms and software that reduces the time of formulating and solving problems of science and engineering; - setting in the computer language domain user tasks; - a significant reduction of the time solving problems and getting the computer interchanges with the assessment of its reliability; - implementation of the principle of parallelism, which provides the user mode on a parallel computer, as well as on a computer with a serial computing entity; - through the use of advanced computer graphics accelerators decrease the size (up to personal size); - high energy efficiency; - focused on local use (outside of computer networks) that is relevant to end users, for example, to automate the design in the field of defense and construction, ensuring the confidentiality of the calculations.

High performance 3 Tflops in PC format is achieved by computing the seal, graphics hardware and virtualization software application. Implement innovative adaptive auto-tuning algorithm, software and computer architecture on the properties of the task. This takes into account the approximate nature of the source data and guaranteed reliability of the computing solutions.
