FILTER CHOKES TO PROTECT THE CAPACITOR BANK OF REACTIVE POWER COMPENSATORS
Purpose of the development:
To protect the capacitor banks of static reactive power compensators from a large current and overheat resulting impact of higher harmonics in power supply systems.
Recommended application field:
In industry.
Technical characteristic:
Choke - three-phase iron-core and dual air gap.
Power - 3%, 5.65%, 7%, 14% of the power capacitor.
Cooling - air, natural.
Impregnation - silicone resin.
Material loops - copper.

Description of the development:
() Included in series with capacitors, inductors pose circuit whose resonant frequency below the frequency of the smallest harmonic network, thereby avoiding the danger of resonance between the capacitor and inductive network installation.
Throttle power expressed as a percentage of the power capacitor. Each value corresponds to throttle power of its resonant frequency.
