Purpose of the development: The calculations of the grates of the chain conveyor for the supply of solid fuel have been carried out and laboratory tests of the grate samples for strength have been carried out. Recommendations for the operation of a chain conveyor for the supply of solid fuel of a TP-35U steam generator have been developed.

Recommended application field: The calculation procedure and conclusions can be applied in boiler plants using chain conveyors of solid fuel supply to boilers.

Advantages over analogues: The conclusions obtained on the reasons for the loss of operational reliability of the chain conveyor make it possible to extend the service life of the grate by 18%.
