Technical characteristic: - width of cleaning (4 blocks x 0.6 m) - 2.4 m; - the thickness of the fracture layer in one pass is up to 100 mm; - working speed - 2,5-3,0 km / h productivity - 500-2000 m2 / hour.

Advantages over analogues: The developed device allows to reduce the shear resistance and energy intensity of the process, improve the quality of cleaning roads and pavements from ice and snow and ice formations and exclude the possibility of damage to the road surface, reduce the process complexity and environmental impact on the environment. This device allows, without a preliminary reduction in the adhesion forces, to remove ice and snow-ice formations from the cover in a technogenic-ecological way, without the cost of heating the boundary layer of frost.

The proposed invention is aimed at reducing the resistance to ice breakage, reducing energy costs in the continuous movement mode of the working member and solving the task of improving the quality of cleaning without damaging the road surface. The device for chipping ice includes a plate with prongs and a vibrator, the prongs are made in the form of a polyhedral prism, the lower part of which passes into a dihedral wedge, at the apex of which there is a knife of rectangular cross section.
