Purpose of the development: The developed elastic clutch can be used to connect the shafts of lifting and transporting construction, road, meliorative and other machines.

Advantages over analogues: Reduction of dynamic loads in the transmission of torque from the shaft to the shaft in the drives of construction, lifting, transportation, road, land reclamation and other machines. In the proposed planetary clutch the torque of the reverse of the driven shaft is eliminated, and due to this dynamic loads are reduced.

The proposed elastic planetary coupling consists of a leading coupling half in the form of a gear with internal teeth, and a driven coupling half in the form of a carrier on which the axles are fixed with movable satellites with cavities mounted on them. At the ends of the satellites and in the axes, radial grooves are made. In the cavities are installed springs, made in the form of Archimedes spirals, one end fixed in the grooves of the axes, and the second in the grooves of the satellites. The moving part of the planetary clutch is closed with a cover. When transferring the torque from the shaft to the shaft through the coupling halves, the rotation will be transmitted to the satellites, which rotate around the axes, tighten the springs and further the satellites do not turn - the torque from the leading half of the coupling is transmitted to the driven coupling half. The internal gearing allows the shafts to rotate in the same direction all the time, that is, excludes the reverse torque of the driven coupling half, and the springs absorb the dynamic loads that arise and reduce their influence on the drive part.
