SPRING COUPLER
Purpose of the development:
The developed elastic clutch is designed to reduce dynamic loads when transferring torque from the shaft to the shaft in the drives of construction, lifting, transport, road, land reclamation and other machines.
Recommended application field:
Construction, road and other engineering.
Advantages over analogues:
The proposed elastic coupling has a simple design and a long life, and due to the elastic deformation of the horseshoe springs, the torque from the shaft to the shaft is transmitted gently.

Description of the development:
() Based on the analysis of the shortcomings of the known designs of elastic couplings, the design of a new elastic clutch is developed, which consists of the right and left half couplings and horseshoe springs. On the outer surfaces of the half couplings, there are rectilinear cavities and fists. Holes on the end surfaces of the cams have horseshoe springs. When transmitting torque from shaft to shaft through the right and left half couplings, the horseshoe springs are deformed and due to the elastic deformation of the springs, the torque is transmitted gently.
