NEW STRUCTURAL SEAL CONSTRUCTIONS WITH SEALING OF SEALED ENVIRONMENT FROM FRICTION FRICTION
Purpose of the development:
New designs of mechanical seals can be used to seal the shafts of pumps of machines and mechanisms of chemical, oil refining and other branches of the economy through which various liquids and liquid mixtures, for example, oil, oil products, mortar, etc., are transported through hydraulic pipelines.
Recommended application field:
Chemical, oil refining industry, etc.
Advantages over analogues:
Increasing the efficiency of mechanical seals by removing the condensed medium from the friction pair, which ensures a reduction in its losses. A comparison of the proposed designs of mechanical seals with industrial samples in the experimental mode showed a decrease in the losses of the compacted medium by 9-12%, an increase in the service life by 10-15%.

Description of the development:
() The existing designs of mechanical seals have a significant drawback: a decrease in operating reliability with an increase in the volume of the compacted medium that enters the joint of the friction pair. To prevent this phenomenon, new designs of mechanical seals are proposed with the withdrawal of the compacted medium from the friction pair. These designs are significantly different from the existing ones.
