MANUFACTURE OF DIAMOND CIRCLES WITH APPLICATION OF HIGH-PRODUCTIVE TECHNOLOGY OF LASER THERMODEFORMATION SINTERING
Purpose of the development:
For making diamond circles.
Recommended application field:
In the industry in the manufacture of diamond tools.
Advantages over analogues:
Cracks, oxidation and other negative processes are not observed at high temperatures (1200-1500 ° C).
The development stage readiness:
Ready for application
Technical and economic effect:
The developed process allows you to radically increase the productivity of manufacturing diamond tools (up to 1-2 pcs / min), expand the nomenclature and area of their effective application, improve the quality of tools and reduce their cost.
Description of the development:
() Laser radiation, due to the high concentration of energy and locality of the process, makes it possible, within a certain power density, to rapidly, within 0.2-0.4 s, heat a given layer of metallic powder to temperatures exceeding their melting point of 1200-1500 ° C. Diamonds, with such indirect heating, melted by laser radiation of a mixture of powders, do not lose their strength, but only under strictly defined processing conditions. This allows laser liquid-phase sintering of diamond-containing composites based on a wide range of ligaments with both fusible and refractory components. To improve the efficiency of the process, a new method has been developed that combines laser liquid-phase sintering with the thermomechanical deforming effect at the cooling stage onto the crystallized composite.
