The method is distinguished by a study of the lack and excess of melatonin on the state of the liver during its normal functioning and under conditions of oxidative stress. The initial result is the development of physiologically sound doses of melatonin. Experimental studies in animals (three series of studies on 81 animals) were conducted, which resulted in the development of recommendations for stabilizing the level of melatonin in the liver. The implementation of these recommendations allowed to improve the functional state of the liver, which was confirmed by the results of control studies. The next step was experimental research in humans, which ended successfully. Work is under way to introduce methods in medical institutions.
