NANOSTRUCTURED ADSORBENTS FOR PURIFICATION OF INDUSTRIAL WATER AND VEGETABLE OILS


Purpose of the development: Method for obtaining nanostructured adsorbent for various industrial processes.

Recommended application field: Ecology and health, agriculture, food industry.

Technical characteristic: Rational parameters of the process for obtaining the adsorbent from plant waste (PB) and sulfuric acid (SC): - sulfuric acid - 65%, - РВ: СК = 1: 1,5; - the reaction time - 1.5 hours; - the process temperature - 130 ° C.

Advantages over analogues: Effective technology for obtaining nanostructured adsorbents will solve the problem of handling plant waste from the agro-industrial complex by obtaining the final products of a special purpose, which is competitive in the current market of industrial adsorbents.

The development stage readiness: tested in laboratory condition

Technical and economic effect: The cost price of the adsorbent (1 UAH / kg) is 10 times less than the cost of activated carbon. To get 1 ton of adsorbent, you need 1.2 tons of plant waste. For adsorptive cleaning of 1 ton of vegetable oil, 30 kg of adsorbent is consumed.

To obtain an adsorbent with improved adsorption properties, the task was to grind the adsorbent to break the van der Waals forces that arise as a result of the electrostatic interaction of the dipoles. The grinding of the adsorbent in the PM-120 mill was carried out, the granulometric composition was 0.05-0.1 mm, the bulk density was 460 g / m3, and the humidity was 1.5%. Electron microscopy showed the presence of micropores measuring 0.5 nm, dispersity - 10 nm. The adsorption capacity of the obtained adsorbent was determined by purification of waste water from heavy metal ions. The degree of purification was 99.9%. Experimental samples of nano-adsorbents from inflorescences of sunflower, corn cobs, and nut shells have been obtained using an improved technique. The technology of adsorption purification of sunflower oil with the use of a modified adsorbent can be realized on the operating equipment of the refining shop of oil and fat plants by the standard technological scheme.
