TRANSFER OF INNOVATIONAL TECHNOLOGIES

TECHNOLOGY OF ENRICHMENT OF IRON ORES WITH THE USE OF CENTRIFUGAL CRUSHERS IN THE STAGE OF SMALL CRUSHING


Purpose of the development: The technology is used in the modernization of iron ore enrichment schemes at enrichment plants, as well as in the construction of new enrichment complexes for ore mining and processing plants.

Recommended application field: Labor protection, ecology, geotechnical and mining mechanics.

Advantages over analogues: The proposed innovative technology for the enrichment of iron ores will allow, on the one hand, to increase the competitiveness of products of mining and processing plants in the domestic and world markets, and on the other hand it will reduce the harmful impact of mining processes on the environment.

The development stage readiness: Tested experimental exploitation order

Technical and economic effect: The proposed scheme for ore preparation will increase the mass fraction of iron in the concentrate by 1-3% and reduce the specific electricity consumption for the ore-preparation processes by 10-15%, which was confirmed by the tests carried out under semi-industrial conditions.

Description of the development:

The main key points of the developed technology: - the stage of large crushing of the initial ore in cone crushers of large crushing (CCD) - from a size of 1500-1000 mm to a size of 350-200 mm; - average crushing stage in cone crushers of medium crushing (KSD) - 350-200 mm to 100 mm size; - stage of fine crushing in small crushers (KMD) - from a size of 100 mm to a size of 30-50 mm; - stage of fine screening with holes of a screen of 5 mm; - the stage of dry magnetic enrichment of the product, the size of which is less by 5 mm (i.e., the sublattice sifting product); - the stage of induction crushing of the oversize screening product, the size of which is less by 50 mm in a centrifugal type crusher (CD) with a size smaller by 5-10 mm; - grinding of crushing products in a drum mill to a size smaller by 0.074 mm; - enrichment of products of grinding on magnetic separators for obtaining iron ore concentrate with a content of a mass fraction of iron of 65-70%. Studies have shown that when grinding the products of crushing of a centrifugal crusher in a drum mill, the content of a class is less by 0.074 mm by 7-10% than in grinding the products of crushing of a cone crusher. With further enrichment of the grinding products of the drum mill (after crushing in a centrifugal crusher), the iron content in the concentrate is 1-3% higher than when enriching the crushing products prepared in the cone crusher (CMD).
