RATIONAL DESIGN OF WELL-BILLED CHARGES WITH MULTI-POINT INITIATION
Purpose of the development:
To increase the degree of destruction of rocks by explosion.
Recommended application field:
Mining.
Advantages over analogues:
The use of multipoint asymmetric initiation makes it possible to increase the degree of destruction of rocks by explosion, to reduce the yield of oversized fractions (more than 800 mm) by almost half and to reduce the average chunk diameter by 15-20%. The new parameters of drilling and blasting operations, with an expanded 8% grid of wells without deteriorating the quality of the blown mass.

Description of the development:
() With simultaneous initiation of an elongated borehole charge at several points, two detonation waves are formed in each of them, propagating in opposite directions. The axial displacement of adjacent insurgents relative to each other makes it possible to increase the influence of detonation waves on the walls and the lower part of the well. The asymmetry of the location of the points of initial detonation leads to a geometric and temporal redistribution of stresses in the medium and promotes an increase in destructive actions in comparison with instantaneous detonation and point linear detonation.
The design of a well charge with increased load on the bottom of the well is developed. The use of such charges leads to an understatement of the sole of the ledge by 45 cm (compared to charges with conventional initiation) without deterioration of the development of the sole of the ledge and the quality of the blasted rock mass.
