SYSTEM OF CONTINUOUS CONTROL OF THE SPATIAL POSITION OF TELECOMMUNICATION SATELLITE


Purpose of the development: The developed radio-technical complex (LCD) is designed for continuous monitoring of the position of telecommunication geostationary satellites, it has four stations located in Kiev, Mukachevo, Kharkov and Nikolaev. The maximum distance between stations is longitude 1000 km and latitude - 400 km.

The radio engineering complex measures the differences in the inclined distances to the monitored satellite, which are determined as a result of the correlation analysis of digital satellite television signals emitted by this satellite and synchronously received by the stations of the Republic of Kazakhstan. To synchronize stations, the GPS receivers of ThunderBolt-E are used. In this case, RK stations use standard DVB-S satellite TV receivers (SkyStar1 and Skystar2), in which the phase of the radiated signal is restored by synchronizing the symbols at the output. These receivers are refined in the part of the output of the signals of their quadrature detectors. The four synchronous fragments of complex signals DVB-S, with a duration of 200 microseconds, received by four stations of the RK, enter the processing point via the Internet channels. Here, as a result of the correlation processing, there are three linearly independent differences in slope ranges (r) for three pairs of stations. The second-second values of the Cartesian coordinates of the satellite (XYZ) in the WGS84 coordinate system are calculated by the hyperbolic method from the obtained value.
