Purpose of the development: The device for extinguishing fires of the new generation can be effectively used for remote extinguishing of hard-to-reach fires (at long distances - about 1 km), in a safe for fire mode.

Recommended application field: Fire safety (the development allows to extinguish hard-to-reach fires: burning of reservoirs of petroleum products of large capacity, warehouses of forest materials, aircraft and other equipment that have crashed at airfields, power plant corps, etc.).

Advantages over analogues: - a safe container for extinguishing hard-to-reach fires with powder and foam; - increase the range of the flight container and the accuracy of the scattering of powder and foam in the area of the fire.

Most often, fires are extinguished by jets of water, foam or powder, the length of which is small: from the hand trunk it is 10 m, and the mantel is 35 m. Water is widely used because the range of a compact water jet reaches 70-80 m. However, when the hydrocarbons are extinguished with water there are problems - it is drowning. In kerosene, for example, burning continues on the surface of the water. Therefore, for extinguishing hard-to-reach fires, multi-barreled artillery fire extinguishing installations are used. They have 30-50 trunks, united in a module of 3-4 trunks, each has a cartridge with powder, powder, capsule and an electric igniter. Powder emitted from the cartridge by a jet. A common shortcoming of the analogical inventions is the short range. In addition, analog devices are dangerous, especially in the case of extinguishing hard-to-reach fires with powder and foam. The design of the proposed development does not have these drawbacks. It consists of a container for extinguishing fires and a catapult for throwing containers into the center of fires, allowing to extinguish large-scale fires at distances of 1000 m and more. Extinguishing can be carried out with foam with powder, shoot down the flames during emergency burning of oil and gas wells. The development model is available for demonstration. Assistance is needed in the development of a pilot plant.
