Purpose of the development: The Ukrainian University has developed an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) - a drone, which can be used for both video surveillance and aerial photography.

Recommended application field: Agriculture (operational monitoring of fields); military intelligence; control of movement of people, equipment; tracing of poachers, etc.

Advantages over analogues: On board the device is installed a control system, developed and tested in different conditions of use. The capabilities of this system are not inferior to the best samples produced in China, the US and Germany.

The main features of the drone: - automatic start and landing on a 5x5 m section; - functional protection of the device - automatic return to the launch point in case of loss of communication with the ground and a critical decrease in power supply, an increase in the range in the flight area; - operative intervention of the operator in the performance of the mission and stopping the vehicle at the desired point of flight with a subsequent extension; - presence in the control system of sensors of safe flight and landing. The device has a video surveillance system in Gyrostabilized suspension to improve the quality of video frames. In addition, the operator can change the line of sight of the camera and detail the area of exploration.
