METHOD FOR DEVELOPMENT OF DIAMOND TUBES


Purpose of the development: The Ukrainian University has developed a method for developing diamond-bearing tubes of a complex structure, as well as refining the reserves of pipes located below the boundary of open mining.

Recommended application field: The utility model refers to geology, geography and mining and can be effectively used for the development of diamond-bearing tubes of a complex structure.

Advantages over analogues: The implementation of selective extraction of minerals from the tube allows: • to significantly shorten the payback period of capital expenditures by increasing the production of crystal raw materials without increasing the productivity of the mine, as the content of diamonds and their qualitative characteristics increase with the depth of development; • obtain significant profits by increasing seizures of the value of diamonds while reducing production costs; • to shorten the terms of the construction and existence of the mine, as well as the capital costs for excavating and fixing the mine workings. The creation of a column of minerals with a high diamond content in the form of a truncated cone, whose center of gravity is shifted to its base, allows it to land on the artificial bottom of the receiving chamber without hanging. In addition, casing strings of process wells are the pillars of the pole when it is planted and contribute to the centering of the column and to reduce the coefficient of friction of the lateral surface of the column against the wall of the cutting slot. The use of a useful model for the refinement of diamond deposits has no restrictions on the geographical location and depth of industrial development.

The method for the development of diamond-bearing tubes includes opening the tube with shafts and cross-cuts, carrying out capital and preparatory workings and receiving chambers on the horizon, drilling wells from the day surface along the ore body of the tube, breaking at least part of the ore body into the receiving chambers, mineral resources on the surface for enrichment. The developed method is characterized in that extraction of minerals from the tube is carried out by a selective method by delineating zones with a high diamond content inclined towards their vertical axes by compensating, cutting and technological wells with casing of the latter, the columns of which are guides, with subsequent charging and disembarkation of cutting wells and formation around the vertical boundary of the zone of a closed cut-off slit in the form of an annular truncated cone, and also a column of minerals about loaded rocks overlying the frusto-conical side surface touching guides.
