TRANSFER OF INNOVATIONAL TECHNOLOGIES

INTELLIGENT LIGHTING SYSTEM

Purpose of the development: To control the spectral composition and intensity of radiation, depending on certain factors (time of day, working or rest conditions, requirements for the level of lighting, etc.).

Recommended application field: At enterprises and in everyday life

Technical characteristic: Power supply voltage - 180-260 V. Power consumption - from 5 W to 40 W. Luminous flux - from 10 to 1800 lm. Light output - 45 lm / W. Power factor -> 0.9. The coefficient of current harmonics - <15%. The light intensity curve - wide. The drop in the luminous flux from the moment of switching on until the moment of reaching the stable mode (30 min.) - <1%. Stability of the light flux in the range of ambient temperatures - from 0 to 40 ° C - <1%. The range of color temperatures - 2800-7000 K. Color rendering index -> 70.

Advantages over analogues: Provides comfortable light conditions for work and leisure, removes the negative impact of artificial lighting on the human circadian rhythm, in contrast to conventional lighting.

The development stage readiness: Ready for application

Description of the development:
()
The results of research in the field of human eye physiology demonstrate the presence of an unintended effect of visible radiation on the circadian rhythms of his organism. The presence in the retina of a special type of receptor, which is most sensitive to the perception of radiation in the spectral range 430-470 nm, leads, at a certain level of its intensity, to a decrease in the secretion of the hormone melatonin. This can have both positive effects in the daytime, when it is necessary to increase the activity of a person, but also can adversely affect it in the evening, when due to a delay or decrease in the production of this hormone can lead to overexcitation of the nervous system, difficulties with falling asleep, insomnia, ill health and so on. Thus it becomes clear that it is very important in the design of lighting systems to realize the possibility of controlling the spectral composition of radiation and its intensity, depending on the series factors, such as the time of day, working or rest conditions, requirements for the level of illumination, etc. Realization of competent control of color and intensity of radiation of lighting systems during the day can provide comfortable light conditions for work and rest of a person, as well as remove the negative influence of artificial lighting on its circadian rhythm, which lighting systems can usually introduce without such possibilities.
