SMART QUADCOPTER: HYBRID QUADROCOPTER
Purpose of the development:
Quadrocopter is designed for automatic monitoring and scanning of technical objects, including power lines, oil and gas pipelines and storage facilities; delivery to a hard-to-reach point of small-sized cargoes; surveillance of protected areas; chemical and biological treatment of agricultural land.
Recommended application field:
The developed Smart Quadcopter is intended for the security and safety industries, agriculture and delivery of goods.
Technical characteristic:
Navigation system: size <10 cm; 3 gyroscope (IMU STMicroelectronics LSM9DS1TR) 3 accelerometers; 1 receiver (GPS receiver EB-800A) accuracy in autonomous mode: with satellite signal - error distance <5 m, without satellite signal - flight duration less than 20 minutes, distance error - 150 m; when the satellite signals are restored within 3 minutes, the full functionality of the navigation system is restored; mathematical model - know-how. Hybrid UAV: weight -14 kg (including ICE with fuel reserve) flight duration => 1.5 hours; the payload is 5-6 kg.
Advantages over analogues:
Its technical characteristics significantly exceed those in unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) of low price, which in most cases can not: work in the air for more than 20-30 minutes and in the offline mode, send a cargo weighing more than 0.2 kg. For the developed UAV, an on-board navigation system and control and measuring equipment have been created.

Description of the development:
() The navigation system of a UAV is a small-sized autonomous electronic information system that realizes the angular velocity and acceleration, the angles of orientation, the linear velocity and the geographic coordinates necessary for automatic control of the UAV movement in real time with high frequency. The device performs the function of integrating inertial and satellite information and reproduces data with better characteristics than individual inertial and satellite ones.
Smart Quadcopter is a hybrid type aircraft that combines a number of electric motors, an internal combustion engine and a generator for recharging batteries.
