Description of the development:

The sample is irradiated with low-power (20W) X-ray radiation, contains several monochrome lines. Fluorescent radiation of chemical elements of the sample is recorded, as well as Compton and Rayleigh scattering of monochromatic radiation on the sample. The mass fraction of ash is determined from the ratio of the peaks of Compton and Rayleigh scattering, taking into account the intensity of the fluorescence of iron. The mass fraction of ash is measured by standard calibration method.
