ELECTROMAGNETIC FLAW FOR THE CONTROL OF AXES WHEELSETS

Description of the development:

Electromagnetic flaw made on the basis of the machine with CNC. This made it possible to fully automate the process control and eliminate the influence of subjective factors on the results of monitoring. On a support machine has four 16MZOFZ multielement transducer, which allow the axis to inspect the whole surface. The presence of the position sensor at the entrance converter provides a constant gap between the axis and the transmitter with an accuracy of + - 0.1 mm. Collection and processing of information from the transducers, as well as control of the machine carries out the computer. With the help of calculated parameters of defects found, created their base, is used to set and testing flaw. Flaw allows detection of defects size 0.001 x 0.3 x 5 mm and a depth of 5-7 mm. Control is carried out in the residual magnetic field, eliminating the need degaussing after axis control. As the magneto-sensitive element is used with a core of flux gate amorphous metal. The use of pulsed excitation mode allowed us to obtain the necessary sensitivity and high noise immunity, which ensures reliable operation flaw in a production environment. He passed metrological certification and adopted "Ukrzaliznytsia" for use on railway transport enterprises.
