TRANSFER OF INNOVATIONAL TECHNOLOGIES

UTILIZATION OF RESCUE THERMAL ENERGY OF INDUSTRIAL ENTERPRISES ON THE BASIS OF APPLICATION OF HEAT PUMPS AND COGENERATION STATIONS


Purpose of the development: The Ukrainian Institute has developed and implemented a heat pump-cogeneration station (TNSC) for generating heat energy from heating parameters from industrial waste water, sewage, etc.

Technical characteristic: - capacity of the waste heat flow - 11.6 MW; - transformation ratio - 3.9; - electric power of KGU - 4 MW; - thermal capacity of the KSU - 5.3 MW; - total heat capacity of TNKS - 20.9 MW; - duration of TNKS operation - 8000 hours; - TNKS annual gas consumption - 8.8 million m3; - annual gas consumption per boiler (20.9 MW) - 19.5 m3; - specific gas consumption for heat production in the boiler - 135.5 m3 / Gcal; - specific gas consumption for heat production in TNKS - 61.5 m3 / Gcal.

Advantages over analogues: - natural gas consumption for heat production - 2.2 times lower; - the payback period of capital expenditures - about 2.5 years; - possibility of assembly using both domestic and foreign heat pumps, cogeneration units, heat exchangers; - reduction of the payback period with the growth of the tariff for natural gas; - independence from the tariff for thermal energy.

The development stage readiness: Introduced in production

Technical and economic effect: - annual saving of natural gas, mln. UAH. - 72,3 UAH; - capital costs for TNKS - 181.6 UAH; - a simple payback period of capital costs - 2.5 years.

At many industrial enterprises there is a waste heat energy in the form of hot water or air with a temperature of 20-40 ° C, which due to the low temperature level can not be directly used for heating buildings. For these purposes, a coolant with a temperature of 60-80 ° C is required. Ukrainian scientists suggest the use of low-potential waste heat energy in a specially designed heat pump and cogeneration station (TNKS) to generate thermal energy of heating parameters. The heat pump (TN) uses low-potential waste heat and converts it into thermal energy with a temperature of about 60-65 ° C. To drive the compressor VT, the electric power generated by the cogeneration unit (KGU), which uses natural gas, is used. The heat carrier after the VT is additionally heated in the engine cooling system and heat exchanger-utilizer of KGU to about 70-75 ° C. Low-potential source of thermal energy of industrial enterprises: water from cooling systems of process equipment, water from cooling systems of compressors, heat of sewage, heat of ventilation emissions.
