SPLASH CHISELS FOR DRILLING WELLS


Purpose of the development: The use of roller-blade bits allows to increase the efficiency of rock destruction, which means an increase in the TEP of drilling.

Recommended application field: Drilling of the wells.

Advantages over analogues: The combination of roller and bladed bits reduces the moment capacity of the bit, and hence its energy intensity. The end pins placed on the blades and following the teeth of the crowns of the cutters improve the process of separating the rock from the face, which in turn increases its efficiency. The separation of the streams at the exit from the blades, as well as the approach of the jetting nozzles to the bottom of the well, improves the washing in the downhole zones from the drilled rock, and also the hydromonitor destruction of the rocks. Placed - carbide pins on the side face of the blade, calibrate the walls of the well, do not allow reducing the diameter of the wells during the wear of the bit.

Roller-blade chisel consists of two paws with cutters and two blades welded together, which form the chisel body. The bit blades on the lateral surfaces are reinforced with hard-alloy pins to calibrate the walls of the borehole. On the end surfaces of the blades are placed carbide pins each of which is against the corresponding crown of teeth cutters. In the middle of the blades there are flushing channels, in the lower part they branch into two channels, at the outlet of which are installed jetting nozzles.
