In the process of drilling and repairing wells, it is often necessary to test blowout equipment in the presence of a non-cased wellbore. The creation in the well of excess pressure during testing can lead to the absorption of liquid by the well, and sometimes even to hydraulic fracturing of the formation. As a consequence, in this case, it is possible to comply with the regulatory requirements for the testing of mounted preventers. In order to separate the borehole from the preventers, test packers of the cuff type are used when testing them.
