ON-BOARD SIGNAL PROCESSING EQUIPMENT FOR THE MULTI-SPECTRAL SCANNER MSU-M OF THE SICH-2M PERSPECTIVE COSMIC APPARATUS (AOS MSU-M)


Purpose of the development: Acquisition of the MSU-M scanner for the domestic dual-purpose spacecraft Sich-2M.

Recommended application field: Remote sensing of the Earth.

Technical characteristic: Type of photodetector - CCD 191 DC. The number of spectral channels - 4. Spectral ranges: 0.50-0.59 mkm; 0.61-0.68 mkm; 0.79-0.89 mkm; 0.69-0.79 mkm. Scanning speed, lines / min - 54000. The speed of the information flow of data, Mbit / sec - 184. Signal-to-noise ratio, not less than - 200. The number of bits of the video signal - 8. Power consumption - 40W.

Advantages over analogues: On-board correction of photometric errors of photodetectors and zone characteristics of a scanner lens.

The onboard equipment processes the signals of photodetectors with charge coupling, turns into a digital code, directs photodetectors, generates test and telemetry signals. The developer proposes the development of the ASC-MSU RKD equipment for the Sich-2 spacecraft and the delivery of upgraded AOS-MSU-M equipment for spacecraft "Sich-2M".
