Purpose of the development: New technological schemes for the development of brown coal deposits of a new genetic type associated with compensatory funnels over salt diapirs.

Recommended application field: The brown coal deposits are significantly waterlogged.

Advantages over analogues: The annual capacity of the quarry for the mountain mass is 45,600,000 m3, incl. for coal 9-10 million tons and for carbonaceous mass 23.9 million tons. The average coefficient of opening for coal is 3.07 m3 / t., for carbonaceous mass - 0.97 m3 / t.

The development stage readiness: Ready for application

Technical and economic effect: - the proposed technology makes it possible to abandon the conservation at the bottom of the quarry of the guard with coal of 90 million m3 and reduce electricity costs for the removal of drainage water of 60 MW / year; - the estimated production cost of 1 ton of carbonaceous masses is 27.4 UAH or per 1 ton of coal - 72.76 UAH; - the introduction of technology in three quarries of the Kharkov region in the period of their construction ensured savings of more than UAH 77 million.

New technological schemes for the development of brown coal deposits of a new genetic type have been developed due to the fact that the overburden parts of the brown coal deposit are 90% composed of associated minerals: carbonaceous and bituminous clays, industrial sulfuric ores, diatomite (about 0.6 million tonnes), ores titanium, lead and zinc, as well as refractory clays, glass and building sands. Mining in the quarry will be accompanied by an increase in water inflow to 52-72.5 thousand m3 / day. In such conditions flooded horizons are proposed to be opened by dredgers, along the way, they will drain the deposits. On the upper horizons with a drained surface, the excavation of the rock mass is suitable for drag-and-drop ESH-20/90 in combination with mobile reloaders and belt conveyors.
