Technical and economic effect: The calculation showed that with an average water inflow of 1,500 m3 / h in a mining enterprise, the savings in annual electricity costs 1611 thousand kWh. The introduction of an automated dewatering management system on the MI Stashkov Mine provides for savings of 1.75 million UAH per year.

The development is aimed at minimizing the funds necessary for the operation of the dewatering system due to the optimal combination of pumping units and the organization of such a schedule for the inclusion of pumps, which ensure complete pumping of mine waters at a minimum unit cost (UAH / m3). Actual pressure characteristics of pumping units differ from each other and from passport values. The inclusion of pumping units with significantly different characteristics for parallel operation leads to the fact that certain pumping units consume electrical energy without contributing to the total supply. This causes an increase in the net cost of 1 m3 of remote water. Sources of energy saving during the operation of the dewatering complex are: - monitoring of the actual technical condition of each pumping unit to form a list of service priorities; - selection of a combination of pumping units to minimize specific energy costs; - the schedule of inclusion of pumping units to ensure the minimum amount of pumping; - automated pre-peak discharge of pumping units, minimizes the funds required for the operation of the dewatering system.
