Purpose of the development: The development is aimed at solving the problem of increasing coal production due to a significant increase in the load on the cleaning face, together with a reduction in their total quantity.

Technical and economic effect: The development allowed to reduce the costs of coal mining due to: - increase the load on the bottom face in 1.5-2.5 times compared with existing technologies; - reduction of the total number of cleaning faces in 1,5-2 times; - an increase in labor productivity and a decrease in the number of employed workers in underground jobs in 1,5-1,8 times.

Based on the scientifically substantiated integral criterion of the effectiveness of the panel fastening as a weighted sum of a number of functional quality criteria, taking into account their weight coefficients and priorities based on the three-level functional decomposition, a method for determining the rational kinematic and power parameters of the fastening sections ensuring its effective interaction with the side rocks and the necessary strength parameters in various mining and geological conditions with any type of combine. The development is aimed at solving the problem of increasing coal production due to a significant increase in the load on the cleaning face. At the same time, the total number of cleaning faces can be reduced regardless of the mining and geological conditions of the mining enterprise.
