Advantages over analogues: Switching ATS makes it possible to significantly reduce the sparking under the brushes of the collectors of powerful motors and DC generators in which defects of the magnetic system are present. This increases the load and the productivity of the mechanisms.

The development stage readiness: Introduced in production

Technical and economic effect: The cost of the system - 190 thousand UAH. The implementation pays off by reducing the number of repairs to the reservoir. Overhaul period of collectors is increased from 3 months to 1 year.

At the additional poles there is an external winding, the current of which corrects the force of their magnetization. The transistor bridge converter regulates the additional winding current as a function of armature current and motor speed. The use of ATS switching significantly increases the load and the productivity of the mechanism without the risk of a circular collector fire. This leads to a reduction in maintenance costs for the drive.
