TRANSFER OF INNOVATIONAL TECHNOLOGIES

TECHNICAL SOLUTIONS FOR INCREASING THE PROTECTIVE EFFICIENCY OF ANTI-RESPIRATORY RESPIRATOR


Purpose of the development: To improve the effectiveness of anti-dust personal respiratory protection.

Recommended application field: Enterprises of mining, chemical, oil, gas and other industries with a dusty atmosphere.

Advantages over analogues: Patent studies were conducted to compare the developed samples of filter elements with existing domestic counterparts in terms of: penetration rate for test aerosol by 20%, dust content by 15% and respiratory resistance by 25% better than analogues.

The development stage readiness: Introduced in production

Technical and economic effect: High dust content of the five-component filter increases the service life, reduces the costs of consumers for their purchase. The total savings will be about 20 thousand UAH for every 100 thousand filters only due to the filter material from a more rational pattern of conical blanks for the manufacture of new filters.

Increasing the effectiveness of anti-dust personal respiratory protection is achieved through a more even distribution of the filtration rate over the area of the working surface of the filter, which increases the dust volume of the filters, their protective properties and reduces the resistance to breathing. A new method for calculating filter elements in respirators of reusable use is proposed. A number of models of filter elements for respirators have been developed in accordance with the requirements of the regulatory documentation of Ukraine, which have passed production tests at coal enterprises. The received designs are transferred to production for further implementation.
