Purpose of the development: To solve a wide range of personnel safety issues and ensure high reliability of mining electrical equipment and underground power supply systems when applying high levels of supply voltage (660, 1140, 6000 V). The proposed equipment improves the work of both power electrical equipment and the operation of control and protection systems.

Recommended application field: Enterprises of mining, chemical, oil, gas and other industries with an explosive atmosphere.

Advantages over analogues: Wide nomenclature of performances; high level of explosion protection; blockiness of structures; effective means of control and protection, their intrinsic safety. New technical solutions for structures and electrical circuits, high values of mechanical, electrical wear resistance and switching capacity, the use of special arc-breaking materials ensure high performance and resources of the developed equipment.

Technical and economic effect: The economic effect of the introduction of these developments in production for 5 years is more than 250 million UAH. Approximate prices - for starters, circuit breakers, power sources from 20 to 30 thousand UAH; devices of smooth start-up from 120 to 180 thousand UAH; station management from 200 thousand UAH.

The industry of Ukraine has received and fully provided with a complex of highly effective mine explosion-proof electrical equipment of domestic production for 6/10 kV, 1140 and 660 V voltage, including high-voltage switchgear, powerful transformer substations, low-voltage equipment: automatic switches of series АВ, starters of new series, complete devices (stations) management. Thanks to this complex, the problem of creating a reliable and trouble-free underground power supply system for mines of coal, mining and other explosive industries has been solved. Switched devices with sealed and vacuum interrupter chambers with a service life of 5-6 years or more have been created. New methods, methods and technical solutions have been developed that made it possible to create for the first time in the world practice protection systems against leakage currents for 1140V networks. The originality of all the developments is confirmed by 110 inventor's certificates of inventions and patents, including the leading countries (the USA, Britain, Germany, France, Russia), to which the definition "was created for the first time in the world practice".
