Generators of Poisson pulse sequences are designed to generate pulse sequences with a Poisson distribution law. Generators are widely used in radio engineering, measurement technology, information protection systems and in other areas, in particular, for simulating random processes and transferring information. The new principle of generators construction allows to generate an output signal with the possibility of operative change of its average frequency. This change is provided in a wide range with high accuracy of installation and with specified statistical characteristics. Generators can be implemented both hardware and software. A new method for testing the quality of GPIP was also created.
