Purpose of the development: For the forecast of zones of low-amplitude tectonic ruptures of coal seams for conditions of Donbass.

Technical and economic effect: The method makes it possible to identify zones of discontinuities with an amplitude of less than 10 m, which are not established by geological exploration work. Allows rational rationale for mining development planning, which increases the efficiency and safety of work in coal mining enterprises. The project implementation period is 1-3 years (depending on the scope of work), the amount of financing is 300 thousand UAH for the mine plastics.

A new method for predicting zones of low-amplitude tectonic fractures of coal seams for the Donbass conditions has been developed. It makes it possible to identify zones of ruptures with an amplitude of less than 10, which is not established by geological prospecting. The forecast of discontinuous violations is carried out in conjunction with the forecast of lithologic and strength characteristics of the roof and the bottom of the formation, the classification of the roof rocks in terms of stability, loading properties and sagging.
