PROCESSORS OF SYMMETRIC BLOCK ENCRYPTION BY TRIPLE DES ALGORITHM
Purpose of the development:
Ensuring confidentiality of information when it is stored and transmitted through open communication channels in real time.
Recommended application field:
Telecommunications; defense industry; computer technology; specialized and embedded systems; financial industry; access control systems.
Technical characteristic:
- development is based on the DES encryption standard (FIPS 46-3);
- ERU, SHS, CFB, OFB modes;
- the block size of the processed data is 64 bits;
- size of the key - 2x56 bits;
- development is presented in the form of a technologically independent VHDL-model.
Advantages over analogues:
- support for dynamic key changes;
- encryption support / decryption;
- high performance / low equipment costs and power consumption.
