TECHNOLOGIES FOR MANUFACTURING TRANSPARENT POLYMER SOLAR COLLECTORS WITH VOLUME THERMAL ABSORPTION
Purpose of the development:
Polymer solar collectors are designed for the integration of heat supply systems.
Recommended application field:
Heat supply systems can be introduced in educational institutions, sanatoriums, boarding houses, apartment houses, etc.
Advantages over analogues:
The advantages of a polymer solar collector are:
- low specific gravity;
- low cost;
- transparency in the empty state of the coolant.

Technical and economic effect:
Implementation of the development will contribute to:
- saving of organic fuel (1 m2 solar collector for April-October will save 100 ... 150 kg of standard fuel);
- improvement of the environmental situation (using 1 m2 of a polymer solar collector for April-October will prevent the release of 10 kg of dust into the atmosphere, 1.5 kg of sulfuric anhydride, 0.8 kg of nitrogen oxide, 2 kg of carbon monoxide).
Description of the development:
() A new type of solar collector with volumetric absorption of solar radiation energy is proposed for the acquisition of heat supply systems. The constructive manufacture of the collector is based on the use of polymer honeycomb structures. New is the creation of this type of solar collector, in which the absorption of solar energy does not occur on the surface of the absorbing panel with subsequent transfer to its heat carrier, but directly in the volume of a special coolant.
To increase the energy efficiency of heat supply systems, it is suggested to regulate the flow of the coolant by a special device integrated into the solar collector.
