FREQUENCY FILTRATION DEVICES BASED ON CRYSTAL-LIKE STRUCTURES
Purpose of the development:
The developed devices can be used in the design of various new high-performance signal processing devices based on crystal-like structures (CS) for information and telecommunication systems.
Recommended application field:
The development is intended for enterprises of radio-electronic profile and provides improvement of the parameters of information-telecommunication systems.
Technical characteristic:
- average frequency: 1-10 GHz;
- relative bandwidth: 2.60%;
- suppression in the bands of suppression: from -20 to -60 dB;
- insertion loss: from 1.5 to 2.5 dB.
Advantages over analogues:
Impedance approach to the modeling of wave structures, which the authors develop, greatly simplifies the modeling and allows us to obtain fundamentally new scientific knowledge associated with the properties of complex wave structures, methods of analysis and synthesis of such structures. The use of these physico-mathematical bases for EC based on the technical solutions proposed by the authors of highly efficient EC provides the development of highly selective signal processing devices with an improvement in signal suppression by 10-20 dB and a decrease in their sizes by 2-3 times in comparison with analogues.
The development stage readiness:
Pre-production model is made
Description of the development:
() Theoretical bases of apodized crystal-like structures (CS), including generalized analysis models and methods of apodization of CS, designed for the analysis of complex CS, are developed.
One such device is miniature microstrip microwave filters based on electromagnetic crystals (EC) and individual EK-inhomogeneities.
Designed EC design solutions and devices based on them are protected by 9 patents of Ukraine for invention and utility model.
