MEASURING LEVEL AND VOLUME OF FLUID IN FLOWS


Purpose of the development: For non-contact measurement of the levels of seconds and total volumes of liquids in streams flowing in tray-type systems, for which the passport characteristic of the tray is known-the dependence of the fluid flow in the flow from its level, as well as control of the achievement of specified emergency (maximum and minimum) values.

Recommended application field: The device can be used at water supply facilities, discharge and purification of municipal, agrotechnical and industrial wastewater. It can also be used to measure the level, volume or mass of liquids in containers of complex shape.

Technical characteristic: - liquid level measuring ranges: 0 ... 0.625 m; 0 ... 1.25 m; 0 ... 2.5 m; 0 ... 5 m; - the measurement error of the liquid level - 1.0% of the upper limit of the measuring range; - relative error in measuring the volume of liquid - 2.5%; - it has two relay outputs for signaling the output for the set upper and lower limit (emergency) values of the liquid level, the relative error of their operation - 2.5%; the possibility of transmitting the measurement information in digital form using the galvanically isolated asynchronous RS-232C serial interface; - the possibility of transmitting the measurement information (liquid level) in analog form: 0 ... 10 V; 0 ... 5 mA; - the design allows for the possibility of working in an open aggressive environment, characteristic of sewerage systems; - power supply from the network 220 V, 50 Hz; - power consumption - up to 15 V; - overall dimensions of the computing unit 180x165x330 mm, ultrasonic locator 155x155x220 mm; - the mass of the computing unit is 6 kg, the ultrasonic locator - 3 kg. LP-1 devices are used in round-the-clock operation at the measuring posts of all three input channels of the station for measuring and controlling the specified parameters of the city's incoming sewage streams arriving at the cleaning station, as well as the automated permanent measurement system and controlling the parameters of the input effluent streams entering the station, which provides the corresponding current measurement information of the operators of the dispatch center of the station. In this system, LP-1 instruments, in addition to measuring the indicated parameters of the three input BSA streams at the measuring stations of the channels, also transmit the measurement data to the control center of the station for the operators of the center, their visualization in digital form and input into a computerized database.
