TRANSFER OF INNOVATIONAL TECHNOLOGIES

SMART QUADCOPTER - HYBRID QUADROCAPER FOR AUTOMATIC MONITORING, DELIVERY OF GOODS AND CONTROL OF SAFETY AND PROTECTION OF TECHNICAL OBJECTS


Purpose of the development: The developed device is a hybrid drones with a navigation system that will provide high-precision automatic control of UAV flight, its output to a given spatial point, return to the starting point of traffic. The device is supposed to be used for monitoring, visual and radiometric control, etc. for the sectors of security and protection, agriculture and the delivery of goods.

Recommended application field: - unmanned remote monitoring of forest areas in order to detect forest fires; - monitoring and transmission of data on radioactive and chemical contamination of terrain and airspace in a given area; - engineering reconnaissance of flood areas, earthquakes and other natural disasters; - detection and monitoring of ice congestion and flooding of rivers; - monitoring the state of transport highways, oil and gas pipelines, power lines and other facilities; - ecological monitoring of water areas and shorelines; - determination of exact coordinates of disaster areas and affected facilities.

Technical characteristic: System: size <10 cm; 3 gyroscope (IMU STMicroelectronics LSM9DS1TR); 3 accelerometers; 1 receiver (GPS receiver EB-800A); accuracy in autonomous mode: with satellite signal - error distance <5 m, without satellite signal - flight duration less than 20 min, error of distance - 150 m; when the satellite signals are restored within 3 minutes, the full functionality of the navigation system is restored; mathematical model - know-how. Hybrid UAV: weight - 14 kg (including ICE with fuel supply); flight duration 1.5 hours; the payload is 5-6 kg.

Advantages over analogues: The navigation system of the quadrocopter is a small-sized autonomous electronic information system that realizes the angular velocity and acceleration, angular orientation, linear velocity and geographic coordinates necessary for automatic control of the UAV movement in real time with high frequency. Hybrid drones with a miniature navigation system integrated into the UAV control system, achieves sufficient accuracy by combining inertial and satellite information and therefore it is able to function autonomously.

Technical and economic effect: The proposed technical solution, firstly, due to the improved MIP increases the autonomy of the UAV (maintenance of operability in the absence of satellite signals for a limited time); secondly, due to low cost, expands the range of potential consumers and reduces irreplaceable costs in case of loss of UAV.

The unmanned aircraft of the quadrocopter type is designed, the design of which is characterized by the use of two types of engines: internal combustion - to create a lifting force and generate electricity and low-power electric motors - to control the flight. This design allows you to provide a carrying capacity of up to 6 kg and a flight time of up to 1.5 hours. The second distinguishing feature is the use of an on-board navigation system with the developed unique software and software that, under normal operation conditions (with GPS / GLONASS signals), provides autonomous flight control with accuracy of coordinates up to 5 m (satellite coordinates), emergency mode absence of satellite signals) - automatic return of the device to a predetermined point.
