METHOD OF OBTAINING THE 2.5 DIFORMYLFURANE

Description of the development:
() Method for the preparation of 2,5-diformylfuran, a reagent for the chemical industry by oxidizing 5-hydroxymethylfurfural with molecular oxygen at atmospheric pressure and low temperature (50 ° C) in the NHPI / Cu (NO3) 2 catalyst system. The yield of 2,5-diformylfuran reaches 95% with a substrate conversion of 93% in 6 hours of oxidation using 10 mole% of NHPI.
