Purpose of the development: It is used: - to relieve stress during vaccination; to reduce the case of weaning animals (swine); - for prevention of calves' enteritis; - to stimulate intestinal motility in dogs; - to improve the immune status in animals under adverse epizootic conditions; - for the treatment of animals with peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum; - with nonspecific enteritis enterocolitis, colitis pancreatitis oncological diseases.

Recommended application field: Veterinary Medicine.

Advantages over analogues: There are no similar developments in Ukraine.

Technical and economic effect: Significant cost savings when cultivating a melanin producer, significantly reduces the cost of the final product: the use of substances and compounds of domestic production.

Description of the development:

The goal of the project is to obtain a polyphenolcarbon complex (melanin) for the preparation "Melavit", using "black yeast" Pseudonadsoniella brunnea as a producer of melanin. The drug "Melavit" is registered by the State Veterinary and Phytosanitary Service of Ukraine. In the State Scientific and Control Institute of Biotechnology and strains of microorganisms, a certificate of deposit of the producer strain was obtained, a certificate of production certification, a production certificate. Further laboratory studies are underway to intensify the process of obtaining the substance for "Melavitu" and other drugs.
