MODULE OF HIGH-PRECISE THREE-COMPONENT INKLINOMETERS WITH DIGITAL DATA PROCESSING


Purpose of the development: To measure the curvature of the vertical part of the wells and the sidetracking.

Recommended application field: Mining.

Technical characteristic: The module of the high-precision three-component inclinometer with digital data processing determines the azimuth, zenith and sight angles of the moving object. Angle measurement range: - zenith: 0-180 ° ± 0.1 °; - azimuthal: 0-360 ° ± 0.5 °; - sighting: 0-360 ° ± 0.5 °. The output is an asynchronous serial port. Temperature range: -20 ... + 85 ° С. Power: 0.5W.

Advantages over analogues: The advantage of the proposed inclinometer is that of its specialized application in a limited range of zenith angles, the design is much simpler, the lack of electromechanical units increases reliability, and the low cost of the device and operating costs allows it to be provided to each drilling rig for mobile use, when repairing wells from the cost of specialized services of logging companies.

The inclinometer for measuring the curvature of the vertical part of the wells and the sidetracking includes a ground device connected by cable, which includes a personal computer with software, a power source and a downhole tool with a microcontroller, a power source. In addition, the downhole tool contains a single-component azimuth angle sensor based on microelectromechanical systems, a three-component gravitational zenith angle sensor based on the horizontal level of the liquid, a modem, a position fixer, and the ground device contains a modem.
