Purpose of the development: Determination of forecast landslide areas with a view to preventing the activation of landslide processes leading to significant environmental problems and material losses within urban areas and territories experiencing anthropogenic pressure.

Advantages over analogues: The advantage of using remote methods over similar ground surveys is the high visibility, efficiency and relative low cost of the method, as well as the creation of a geo-information system of landslide areas.

Description of the development:

The results of the forecast are the geoinformation system of landslide zones and some areas of possible activation of landslides, concluded on the basis of the use of multispectral satellite data, morphodynamic analysis of the territory with digital terrain models, analysis of changes in anthropogenic load in monitoring mode. By request, work can be performed for planning, construction, management structures and city administrations to carry out anti-landslide measures.
