HARDWARE-PROGRAM COMPLEX FOR NON-DESTRUCTIVE DETECTION AND RECOGNITION OF UNDERGROUND OBJECTS


Purpose of the development: Предлагается система подповерхностного дистанционного зондирования с надежным обнаружением и распознаванием подземных объектов, работающая на принципах сверхширокополосной радиолокации и позволяющая получить высокое разрешение и достаточную дальность действия.

Recommended application field: The development is interesting for construction organizations with the purpose of introducing construction and repair work into practice to determine the state of soils before laying foundations, researching construction sites before and after drilling or piling, studies of landslide hazard of slopes, etc. The city economy will be useful for identifying pipes, communications, collectors, archaeological sites, and graves. It can also be used for military purposes.

Description of the development:

The essence of the development characterizes the application of such technologies: a new technology for processing signals of subsurface sounding; automated and improved technology for processing fields and images and interpreting the results of sounding; improved technology for generating and emitting a probing ultra-wideband signal in order to increase the resolution and depth of sounding; a new technique for preventing a decrease in the signal-to-noise ratio with increasing sensitivity. The development provides analysis of the object to a depth of 15-20 m with a resolution of a maximum range of about 1 m, and at short distances - up to several centimeters. A prototype of a georadar with a large range of working depths is made in comparison with known samples. A methodology for the practical use of GPR has been developed and recommendations have been developed for interpreting the results obtained. Technical documentation and methodological recommendations for the interpretation of remote sensing data have been developed. The results are experimentally verified and confirmed.
