DECOMPOSITION METHOD OF DETERMINING THE STRUCTURE OF LAYERED MEDIA AND THE EFFECTIVE SURFACE OF SCATTERING OF OBJECTS
Purpose of the development:
The purpose of the development is to increase the resolution and reliability of modern monitoring systems for the current state of industrial structures in order to optimize their maintenance costs and extend the life due to the developed new principles for identifying and processing ultra-wideband pulse signals reflected from plane-layer media and subsurface objects.
Recommended application field:
Monitoring of the state of industrial structures, roads, bridges, military facilities.
Advantages over analogues:
The proposed algorithms and methods for processing data of non-destructive testing and remote sensing using pulse ultra-wideband georadars and multichannel radiometers have no domestic or foreign analogues.
The development stage readiness:
Ready for application
Description of the development:
() Algorithms for practical application of the decomposition method for determining the quality of radar masking of special equipment objects from measurements in the near-field zone are proposed and it is shown that when using masking means, the most effective use of them is when the radioactive material is covered not by the whole object but only by the areas with the highest reflection coefficient; the effect of structural layers and litter soils on the characteristics of secondary scattering of objects is considered.
