Purpose of the development: The information and measuring system for studying the work processes of internal combustion engines (ICE) allows to obtain the current values of the operating parameters of the internal combustion engine and to analyze the parameters of the engine working process.

Recommended application field: The development is intended for enterprises of radio-electronic profile and provides improvement of the parameters of information-telecommunication systems.

Advantages over analogues: The software-measuring complex provides receiving, processing and analysis of the indicator diagrams of the working process of internal combustion engines using an electrical pressure transducer, an analog-to-digital converter and a personal computer. The application of the complex allows the output of pressure and temperature diagrams in the cylinder, the characteristics of heat release and heat use, the determination of the duration of combustion and its individual phases, the rigidity of combustion, indicator work and power, mechanical losses and separately pumping losses of the engine. Similar software-measuring complexes produced by the firms AVL (Austria) and Kistler (Switzerland), in comparison with the developed ones, have several times higher cost.

The developed complex provides absolute pressure measurement in the cylinder of the internal combustion engine from 0 to 10 MPa at the maximum temperature of the measuring sensor cooling membrane up to 350 ° C in the range of the rotation speed of the crankshaft from 750 to 5000 1 / min.
