Purpose of the development: The main purpose of the systems of containment and suppression of explosions is to prevent the destruction of equipment and the spread of flames in coal mining sites, transport communications, and adjacent technological devices.

Recommended application field: Mining of coal mines, localization of explosions in other underground structures and premises (in tunnels, mines, gas pumping stations, in ventilation systems, in the underground, in woodworking, flour-milling, paint and varnish enterprises, oil and gas enterprises, elevators, etc.) instant fire suppression in military hardware.

Technical characteristic: Response time: not more than 0.1 s. The minimum diameter of the detected source of ignition from a distance of 5 m in the direction of the axis of sight: 0.75 m. Angle of view of the flame sensor: not less than 70 deg. The length of the zone of the explosion-suppressing medium at a section of the output of 10 sq. M: not less than 15 m. Rated supply voltage of alternating current source with frequency 50 ± 1 Hz: 36 V. Power consumption: no more than 10 W.
