HARDWARE AND METHODOLOGICAL COMPLEX FOR ECOLOGICAL AND ENGINEERING RESEARCHES OF POLYGON OF SOLID HOUSEHOLD WASTE
Purpose of the development:
Surface, subsurface and downhole determination of the concentration of methane and carbon dioxide in solid waste landfills. Downhole definitions of engineering-geophysical parameters and the layered structure of polygons (clay insulating layers-waste is a natural basis).
Recommended application field:
Solid waste landfills.
Advantages over analogues:
The absence of analogues on the world market combining environmental and engineering-geophysical studies of landfills; adaptation of equipment, interpretation-methodical and software for a specific object; operational, without sampling, in situ determination of an extended set of parameters.

Description of the development:
() The complex consists of radioactive logging equipment, a measuring instrument for the concentration of СН4 and СО2, and an interpretation and methodological support. The determined parameters: the concentration of CH4 and CO2 in the range of 0-100%; density, humidity, porosity, etc.
Piece workmanship equipment sets to order. Search for partners for mass production of equipment and widespread introduction of the complex.
