QUICKLESS METHANE CONCENTRATION METER FOR THE CONDITIONS OF THE ORE ATMOSPHERE OF COAL MINES


Purpose of the development: The development is intended to control the concentration of hazardous gas substances in the ore atmosphere of coal mines, chemical, metallurgical plants, enterprises with a high explosive concentration of gas toxic substances.

Recommended application field: The meter can be used in the aero-gas protection system of coal mines and industrial enterprises for the timely detection of salvo gas emissions.

Advantages over analogues: The speed of the meter does not exceed 0.15 s, which is 5 times less than the regulated value of the speed (0.8 s). The main error in measuring the concentration of methane is 2 times less than that of analogs, in the measurement range from 0 to 4 vol. %

Description of the development:

Experimental samples of a high-speed methane concentration meter were developed, created and investigated, and the requirements for the development of an experimental batch of a meter were substantiated. The range of measurement of methane concentration is 0-4 vol. %; the value of the main absolute error of methane concentration measurement is no more than ± 0.1 vol. % in the specified range; the value of the additional measurement error when the temperature changes from +5 to + 35 ° С does not exceed the basic measurement error; the value of the additional measurement error when changing the concentration of dust from 0 to 1 g / m3 does not exceed the basic measurement error in the same range of measurement of methane concentration.
